Frequently asked questions
How regularly do I need my windows cleaned?
For most of our residential customers we advise a 6-8 weekly cleaning cycle to ensure your windows are kept in the best condition. One of the biggest bonus' with using pure water window cleaning is how long they actually stay clean for. We do advise customers on busy main roads that perhaps a monthly window cleaning service would suit better as the build up from the road can really effect this.
This isn't set in stone, and many of our customers do opt for a more infrequent service which is completely fine and we are happy to discuss your needs and see what suits you. For a one off window clean as a rough guide we typically charge 2x the maintenance clean price of which we'll advise you after seeing your property.
How much does it cost?
Every property is slightly different but our prices start from £15 which is our minimum charge for window cleaning, in an ideal world we will visit the property to give an accurate price but sometimes we will request pictures to give you a quote. We take into account various factors when pricing your window clean such as access, if you have an extension/conservatory, how many floors you have and finally how long we think it will take. Our first cleans are more expensive due to the amount of time and effort that goes into them which can be anything from 50%-double the maintenance price.
For example:
3-4 Bed Semi-detached without a conservatory/extension first clean £35-40
6 weekly thereafter £18-£20
Can I have a traditional window clean?
Yes absolutely! Some customers do still prefer the "old fashioned" way of cleaning windows and that's completely fine. One of the biggest problems with traditional window cleaning is the ability to access safely certain windows, many properties now have lots of modifications/ extensions to them making it nearly impossible to achieve a good clean safely. When we look at your property we'll advise you on the day of any windows we feel couldn't be safely cleaned and will use the water-fed pole for these but more then happy to clean the others traditionally.
How do I pay?
Payments are made by either BACS or cash on the day of the clean so no need to worry if you're not going to be home when we call.
When will I know you are coming?
All of my customers receive a text message the night prior to the clean to request the gate is left unlocked to allow access to the rear and we send you a message when your windows have been cleaned, hassle free!
Do you offer internal window cleaning?
Yes, of course, this is a popular request from new and existing customers that would like a thorough job. Before we are due we ask all of our customers to ensure we have clear access to all windows and that the sills are completely clear from obstructions before starting. In turn, we will ensure that your surfaces are fully protected and that all footwear is covered while inside your property to protect floors and other surfaces while cleaning is in progress.
